How do I know the pods are safe and fresh?

All our Shot Pods are freshly roasted and packed immediately after roasting. The hermetic sealing process seals the freshness in!

Our pods are made of bio-based compostable polyethers*, hence they are both biodegradable and compostable, yet have a high oxygen barrier to protect coffee flavour and aroma.

This ensures optimum freshness and a shelf-life of 2 years! But of course there’s no need to stock up, since we’re able to deliver fresh pods straight to your door as soon as you run out!

*The material complies with the EU standard on compostability of packaging (EN13432). They are the first capsules on the market to be awarded the certifications “OK Compost” and “OK Biobased”, which confirms the compostability of all the constituents and components of the finish product (the capsule, coffee, lids, and adhesives). It is also Bisphenol A free, PVDC free, MGO free, and Aluminum free.
