We’re glad you asked!
You can recycle them yourselves. Each component of your pod - including the capsule and foil seal - is recyclable but will need to be separated. We, and more so Mother Earth, would really appreciate if you could empty out the organic material (i.e. coffee) and peel off the aluminium foils before recycling the plastic pods. The coffee can be made into compost and double up as a fertiliser for plants.
If you'd like, you can save used coffee grounds, which can be added to soil as a fertiliser, used as an odour-remover in the fridge, or as a scrub for the stove/sink, cast iron pans, etc. Drop us an email if you've other innovative suggestions for repurposing used coffee grounds!
